The Consorzio di Tutela del Mobile di Verona has acted as the leader for two separate projects, funded by the POC of the Veneto Region 2014-2020, with the aim of helping the associated companies develop a common internationalization project to relaunch the furniture sector of Verona.

The interventions involved a series of specialist consultations whose objectives were:

  • Provide companies with a stable business organization in the commercial sector, with the creation of a correct and modern marketing apparatus;
  • Focusing the “Mobile di Verona” brand in a territorial perspective which, in addition to benefiting the companies that participated in the tender, also served to highlight the smaller companies in the District, drawing worldwide attention to Verona as the land of wood and wooden furniture;
  • Creation of a joint e-commerce that serves as a showcase for the companies' products under the common banner of the “Lignum” logo;
  • Effective presence at international trade fairs in the sector in order to maximise the output deriving from participation in the same;
  • Increase incoming visitors to the area (a topic the District has been working on for years) in order to enhance and spread the image of the district in the world.

For the realization of the project “LIGNUM: VERONA FURNITURE IN THE WORLD”, the participating companies have seen the following contributions approved by the Veneto Region:

• BIANCHINI F.LLI SRL → € 82.003,00

• MOBILSEDIA 2000 SRL → € 54.277,00

• MOBILFERRO SRL → € 31.868,00

For the realization of the project “TO BE VERONA PROJECT: THE ART OF VERONESE FURNITURE IN THE WORLD”, the participating companies have seen the following contributions approved by the Veneto Region:
